JOB PURPOSE

The Academic Qualifications Admin Intern is a member of the sales and business development team for academic qualificationsin the Gulf and Levant, ensuring the smooth running of Pearson’s sales and support processes, performing various administrative tasks to ensure fast and accurate response for customers and other internal stakeholdersin the Gulf andLevant territory.This role reports into the Head of Academic Qualifications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Helping move customers down the sales funnel, including creating awareness around Pearson’s events, assisting attendees with training registrations and responding to their request for information

  • Coordinate with the events/training team in the UK and marketing team in Dubai around the qualifications events (venue, dates, training packs)

  • Support the marketing team in the promotion and implementation of Pearson Training events

  • Act as a bridge between the centres and the customer services team to sort some urgent issues.

  • Helps in the logistics of the Higher Achiever Awards (data analysis of high achievers, prepare and print certificates for all the awardees, send them to the centres, etc.)

  • Actively maintain/update Academic centres list, contact details and delivered qualifications for Pearson

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree or Higher Education background

No experience required. Experience in admin is a plus

  • Competent in prioritising and working with little supervision

  • Self-motivated and keen learner

  • Well-developed computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and email applications

  • Excellent relationships management and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical skills, including historical sales analysis, pricing, and forecasting.

  • Excellent spoken and written command of English (and Arabic preferably)
